Black Politics with Chris Owens . . . the nuts and bolts of change
A message from Chris Owens...
Education and voting, not sexy issues, but they are important to get that "change" we're all talking about:
Paul Tough, from the New York Times magazine, joins me for a fascinating discussion about his new book, “Whatever It Takes.” It’s the story of how and why Geoffrey Canada's Harlem Children's Zone works and the larger ideas behind how to get folks out of poverty and gain skills to succeed.
And Jonah H. Goldman - Campaign Director, National Campaign for Fair Elections - has info on where to go if you're turned a way at the polls in November. We'll be covering this topic regularly, so you don't lose your vote.

Amazing what a soft voice can say...
If the latest polls about racism don't bother you (and personally I think its just something the Republicans tried to put out there to say racism is still ok), then don't watch this video.
If you find the question of racism raised by the media last night and today rather annoying, you should see:

Its wonderful to see such an important point made without him raising his voice. God Bless Rev. Bryant.

This guy has the courage, brains, unflappable poise, and charisma to unite this nation and pilot it through the complex, rocky waters ahead.
I don't care if his parents were Klingons.
Don't be stupid.
Vote for Barak Obama on November 4th.
