The Democrats in Congress need to stand up to republicans. They should ignore the rhetoric of Sean Insannity, Rush Limpballs & Bill O' Silly. During The Clinton presidency, the republicans had no problem attacking Bill Clinton not on policy but on hate, partisanship & simply because he is a democrat.

After 9 11 Faux Nooze tried to convince everyone it was unpatriotic to criticize Bush43 & the war in Iraq, while the likes of Coulter, Hannity, Limbaugh & O'Reilly continued their rhetoric about The Clintons to avoid admitting Bush43 is inept.

The White House convinced Congress after 9 11 through fear, to trade the Constitution in & surrender rights to allow 1 man to abuse power. It worked because the democrats caved in & voted for The Patriot Act, voted for The Military Commission Act of 2006 to pardon a sitting president, The CIA & military troops that may have engaged in war crimes.

The Congress surrendered their constitutional duties to impeach a president & his staff for blatant lies of illegally spying on American citizens thru wiretaps & not following existing law under The FISA act. The Congress chose to turn a blind eye to the lies of a president that said POWS were being treated fairly & humanely, knowing he had outsourced them to other countries to be tortured.

John McCain a victim of torture freely admitted The USA hanged Japanese soldiers after WW2 for waterboarding U S troops. The USA also prosecuted Japanese soldiers & sentenced them to 15 years of hard labor for waterboarding an American civilian & U S troops. Once The 109th republican led Congress learned the law had been broken, they chose to sweep it under the word & passed The Military Commission Act of 2006 retroactively clearing The president of wrong doings instead of doing what The U S Constitution required & impeaching him.

In 2008 Senator McCain voted against a bill that would ban the use of waterboarding & said The President should veto the bill if passed. This shows McCain is a hypocrite & should not whine he was tortured in Vietnam, since he has now flip flopped & supports the use of torture.

Do you really want a president that supports the use of torture & lowering the standards of our nation to that of the enemy ?

The war on terror is a complete fraud, just as the war on drugs & prostitution are. The reason the war is a fraud is as follows. Who is Al qaeda ? Where do they come from ? How many members do they have ? Where are they located ? How do identify them ? Unless you can answer each & every one one of those questions, it is asinine to think you can defeat an enemy you can not indentify & an enemy that is not contained to any 1 person, group or country, just as drugs & prostitution are not contained.

If Iraq were the threat The President insisted, how he he carried out no military action under The War Powers Act to strike targets he thought the threat & WMDS existed before 9 11 ? Instead, Sec Powell & Ms Rice chose to state containment was working & the administration was satisfied Iraq was not an imminent threat.

The military was entered into a war in Iraq based on deception & the lies of a misleader. Over 4,000 U S troops killed for WMDS that were hallucinated. Over 23,000 troops injured for WMDS the administration now says does not exist. Yet the administration told lie after lie they have proof WMDS exist in Iraq & prove it by removing them by stockpiles.

The democrats in The 110th Congress did however try to bring troops home & pass bills to do so only to have them vetoed & for republican obstructionists in Congress to refuse to override the president's veto.

With the election drawing near in November, republicans now try to hide & distance themselves from the president & the stay the course mentality & failed policies of the most corrupt administration since Nixon & Watergate.

The American people should not fall this deception by republicans. If you want to save the lives of U S troops, you must get them out of Iraq completely, close down the U S embassy there & order American civilians out of Iraq & the businesses they established inside of Iraq.

Besides, The Republicans no longer fear being attacked or this country made a target by terrorists, because if they did, Rudy Guiliani would have won every GOP primary & caucus & be the republican nominee based on his 9 11 rhetoric. The republicans rejectic Rudy's fear message, rejected Fred Thompson, Romney & Huckabee & chose McCain.

As for appeasement of terrorists, Bush43 needs a history lesson. President Nixon lifted sanctions off of China in 1972 after over 20 years & shook the hands of one of the most brutal dictators in history, Chairman Mao.

Ronald Reagan appeased terrorism & chose to negotiate arm Saddam with weapons & chemicals. Rumsfeld was sent to Iraq to shake the hand of a dictator & terrorist on behalf of President Reagan. Saddam was able to gas The Kurds using U S Hughes helicopters supplied under The Reagan administration. Did Reagan not know Saddam was a terrorist & dictator ?

Reagan then chose to arm Iran. Reagan chose to trade weapons for hostages. 241 marines killed in Beruit, Reagan chose to cut & run.

Donald Rumsfeld was a member on the board of The ABA & chose to vote to sell two lite-water nuclear reactors to N Korea. President Bush43 chose to negotiate with dictators of N Korea & Libya appeasing them. The lesson learned here is for an elephant that never forgets, republicans suffer from memory loss or is the lesson is some people are hypocrites ?

It's funny to hear republicans talk of the deficit. When they controlled Congress for 6 years under President Bush they had no problem with pork bills. In fact the only bill vetoed at the time was stem research & that was ashame because it denied the likes of Sean Insannity, Rush Limpballs, Coulter & Bill O' Silly to one day receive active brain cells. OK just kidding .

As for giving Reagan credit for ending The Cold War, that is a joke. The Soviet Union was already crumbling from internal corruption. Reagan had nothing to do with it. He just happened to be in office at the time it fell & racked up massive debt. Reagan didn't end The Cold War any more than Charlton Heston parted The Red Sea.

The election of 08 is very important. If you vote McCain, you in essence saying you want to stay the course & remain in Iraq putting U S troops at risk in a war that was based on lies of politicians just as Vietnam was.In order to stay the course for a 100 year occupation, McCain will need a military draft because not to many war supporters are running to enlist & those that want out of the military are having their stays extended.

Sadly some in the military chose their own exit strategy & committed suicide. Sadly when The Vets return they will be met with government red tape to get benefits & medical/psychological treatment & counseling they may need.

For those that support the war, running out to a retail outlet purchasing a U S flag pin & U S flag or magnetic sticker for the car ( We Support The Troops ) made in China is not a sign of patriotism, nor support. If you support the war, you should go enlist & help the troops.

The wealthy & elites are not going to volunteer , nor are they going to talk their children & encourage them to either. They will sit behind their computer & their desks & rant like blooming idiots all the while risking nothing.

Hannity, Limbaugh. Coulter & O" Reilly never had the guts to serve. The VP took his share of deferrments as well & never had the guts to serve. But yet they have no problem risking the lives of someone else's children. Even some democrat war supporters dodged as well when they had a chance to serve.

The president said, The lesson learned from Vietnam is we left to soon, thus we must stay the course in Iraq. 2nd Lt GW Bush had an opportunity to volunteer to go to Vietnam to help the troops, but chose not to.

"Cut N Run " is rhetoric. " Stay The Course & pay the price is a reality of the loss of life for absolutely nothing if you remain in Iraq. Invading Iraq did not make The USA safe. Why won't politicians in Congress tell the truth & admit to whether U S troops are being put at risk to help greedy oil companies are getting oil from Iraq ? How many politicians are earning money & getting kickbacks from oil companies to remain in Iraq ? Who in America are earning money off of the war in Iraq at the expense of U S troops being put at risk ?

Where is the money U S troops recovered when they invaded Iraq ? What happened to almost $9 - 12 billion dollars of U S tax payer's money sent to Iraq ? The story of " We lost it " simply does not hold water. It's asinine to think you simply lose that much much money. Congress promised to investigate these matters & The American people deserve to have answers.

The exit strategy is clear by the current administration. Stay the course & pass the buck to the next president & blame them for the failures. The next president must mend fences abroad because The USA no longer has credibility in the world. On 9 11 the world was with us in support because we were invaded & attacked unjustly. March 2003, The World moved against us for we became the invaders against a country that did nothing to us.

The next president must spend time mending fences to regain trust. The USA is a great country & most try to do the right thing & do it with honor & pride. The USA is 1 of the first countries in the world to lend a helping hand to other nations when tragedy strikes, yet we deny our own people assistance when they are in need. I speak of our homeless, our returning vets & the thousands of young runaway children that line the streets on big cities prostituting themselves for drugs.

Our law makers should also be ashamed too of asinine laws you passed that allows a 16 year old child to consent to have sexual relations with an adult 18 years old & older. That is sick & its pedophilia. You allow an 18 year old to join the military but deny them the right to purchase alcohol or a handgun thinking they are too immature to handle it, yet you pass asinine laws allowing a 16 year old minor to consent to have sex with an adult. Where in God's name is the logic of that reasoning ?

For those of you 18 - 35 years old, this election is truly about you. It is time for change. To vote out the old career politicians that want to keep this nation involved in wars & change the course of history with new ideas.

One must never fear to negotiate. War is used as a last result. War is also an admission one lacked the mentality to reason with their opponent. Sometimes you can walk away from a fight, sometimes you are cornered & must fight. As much as the war is needed to be ended in Iraq the only reason one logically say The USA is obligated to stay awhile is this. Because of the lies of The White House, we invaded Iraq & destroyed their homes & culture. We are now obligated to stabilize it to the best of our ability to avoid massive civil war & unrest & help The Iraqis defend it against intruders.

The reality is once The USA leaves, those thrown out of power will try to get it back, those in power will try to keep it. Civil war is sure to break out, innocent civilians sadly that includes women & children will die. If freedom is worth having, then it should be worth dying for. At some point The Iraqi people must stand on their own & fight for what is theirs & stand up the insurgents. If 12-15 million people voted in Iraq for democracy, surely they out number a few hundred thousand insurgents & can rid themselves of them. Won't be easy, but it can be done.

The U S embassy in Iraq should be dismantled & all American presence should end unless it is the will of The iraqi people for us to be represented there. We must give The iraqi people back their land & culture & not interfere. Just imagine if another country invaded The USA & tried to tell us how to live, what we can have, own & how to live, would you not resist ? Oh wait ! We did against The British/England. Silly me !

The only way to light a fire under the Iraqi people & The Iraqi government is to impose a secret deadline between The USA & Iraqi govt & say you have X amount of time to assume responsibility for your country before we clear out & be firm. There has to be a consequence in order to make them stand up & assume responsibility for their country.

As for winning the war. No one wins in a war. The only thing good about a war is its ending. As for troops dying in vain, that is totally 100 % idiocy. Anyone that wants to stay the course should head to their recruiter to enlist & Congress should not allow age nor gender to be an excuse. Sitting behind your computer & ranting " We support The Troops is meaningless rhetoric. Put your money where your mouth is & go enlist to help them if you support the war. Put your life at risk as you ask them to, otherwise shut up & bring them home to their families.
