Hate Mail

I don't get much hate mail. I might get one
piece every two months or so, and it usually just tells me I'm stupid.
But then I don't have Bill O'Reilly
stirring up the nativists, either. It's really disturbing to see the
kind of mail that Markos gets. I know why liberals are angry...look at
the economy, for starters. But why are Bill O'Reilly's listeners so
angry? What explains the hatred of so many people on the right?

And, to be honest, I don't think this is an unusual situation. There
seems to always be a certain percentage of people, in every country,
that basically feel like Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter do (or say
they do). It only becomes a serious problem when the group grows large
enough to start putting their enemies up against the wall. As Roger Waters put it:

Are there any queers in the theater tonight?
Get them up against the wall!
There's one in the spotlight, he don't look right to me,
Get him up against the wall!
That one looks Jewish!
And that one's a coon!
Who let all of this riff-raff into the room?
There's one smoking a joint,
And another with spots!
If I had my way,
I'd have all of you shot!

I mean, how is that any different from what people are writing to Markos?

How is it different?

Well, for one thing, there are a LOT more people in the world who like Pink Floyd than there are who like Ann Coulter or Michelle Malkin (combined!).

For another, Waters understood the concepts of irony and sarcasm.

What explains the hatred?

The neocons have been ruining our country in warp speed since Reagan, and this includes the Clinton dynasty. They have dominated the peasants and made labor's worth non-existent. They have paid off congress to get their little slave trade agreements passed and tried to do away with freedom from religion. They got their Nazi friends appointed to the Supreme court so they could stick the cow prod even further up the average American's ass. Cronyism and greed have made them much richer than they already were.

Why are they pissed? Because they see that the peasants are fed up with their bullshit and we are coming our in droves to eliminate Republicans from our positions of representation. The Republicans are going to lose much more than their asses come November, and the neocons are acting predictably in their usual infantile manner, because very soon, they will no longer get their fucking anti-American way.

They can go to hell or Dubai for all I care. Those sons of bitches have intentionally brought suffering on millions of us so they could get theirs and now their fascist time has passed.

Odds are they will try to kill off Obama. Odds are Pelosi will refuse to investigate the assassination, but this is exactly why Hillary should not be vp and why Pelosi should be thrown out on her ass come November,. If the vp running mate is not Bernie Sanders, it must be Edwards. It must be someone who is not a status quo establishment corporatist, but someone that really wants the real reforms our nation seriously needs.

So-called conservative are filled with hate. Whether it is for those that don't buy the Jesus fairy tale, or simply because someone is not white. Even if you are white, if you are poor, they hate your ass too. They hide behind ancient scripture and selectively ignore what it says to suit their goals.

If you ever wondered to what extreme these assholes wanted to take our country, look no farther then the Taliban.

Well said! Those f###s don't care one single iota about our country. All they care about is their financial portfolios. Then they delude themselves into thinking that if they are rich, no matter what else happens, it's good for the country. I HATE fascists!
