Let's just say that white folks in Oregon live in the 21st century; they make decisions based on the strength of a person's character, not necessesarily the color of their skin. The white folks in W. Va. and Kentucky are frozen in time; they make their decisions based on tribal traditions borne of the antebellum south: They say ---"I thought Hayes took care of Reconstruction!".

Say what you like, the fact remains Bsarak Obama is a lousy candidate who will get shredded by the Republican attack dogs. If you look beyond the White Middle Class guilt trip and ignore the colour of his skin you start to see that Barak Obama with his "motivational speaker" ersatzcharisma and his visions, dreams hopes and promises of change looks very like Tony Blair, the biggest political disaster Britain ever put into office.
Barak is so devoid of personality I can't even do jokes about him. You'll have to make do with this.
