DJ Spooky's Pro-Choice Message

NARAL Pro-Choice America has been fighting the battle to protect the pro-choice values of freedom and privacy for over 30 years. Their new battle strategy is attacking through the Internet, launching a new movement called “free.will.power.” A series of online videos designed to engage and enlist younger activists into the pro-choice movement.
Taking notice of the influence the internet had on President-elect Barack Obama's campaign--gaining legions of voters across the country, fans around the world, and millions of dollars for his campaign, NARAL Pro-Choice America is now looking for similar success.
"In the 2008 presidential election, we witnessed how the power of technology and the enthusiasm of young voters revolutionized the political process," said Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation.
DJ Spooky, one of the most admired postmodern DJs today, and three innovative young spoken-word artists, were recruited to produce three online viral videos to help spread NARAL Pro-Choice America's message. You can see the first one here.

WAY too 'bizarro'.
It's simple, really.
Victims of rape and incest (is usually also rape, BTW..) should not be FORCED to allow those cells to become a baby. The decision to abort is NOT one that is taken lightly.
That 'moment of passion'? It is up to BOTH parties to ensure a pregnancy free encounter is on the menu, via 'the pill', condoms, if they don't want a baby....but if the precautions taken don't work for some reason, (outlandish, but I hear it DOES happen) should that woman be FORCED to carry that unwanted/unplanned potential baby to term?
THAT is a decision that can ONLY be decided between a woman (or girl) and her doctor. The church has no say (other than it's opinion) regarding the law in this. Otherwise it should lose it's tax exempt status.
I guess the conservatards would say
"as ye sow, so shall ye reap." In other words, if you're "promiscuous" (by their definition, any sex without benefit of marriage is promiscuous), you get what you deserve. Too bad that only applies to women and their sex partners whose birth control fails, not to Wall Street CEOs who practice unsafe investing and take down America's mid-size financial institutions. They get a $700B bailout (and counting). Talk about a "morning after pill."
Abortion rights has
been law since Roe v. Wade (35 years). Do any of you really think this law would be overturned? The longer it stays in the books, the harder it will be to overturn. As it is now with the current Suprerme court, Roe v Wade would not be overturned. With Obama in power and a possible 2 appointees over his term, Roe v Wade is with us a long time. These pro-choice and pro-life groups need to get a life and move on. This issue is way back there on a huge list of priorities.
FYI: In our nation's 232 year history...
... abortion was illegal for maybe 70 of those years, give or take,... because of a minority of religious zealots.
Inducing miscarriage with herbal substances is as old as agrarian civilization.
It is insane not to allow human beings to manage their families... ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TO FEED THE CHILDREN THEY ALREADY HAVE.

Fucking Con-Tards... "Love the fetus... hate the person."
HOOFA!...
If there's one thing worse than bad poetry... It's turning bad poetry into a bad poetry music video.
Horrible!... Just Horrible!
