AIG: The $443,343.71 Vacation

The House Oversight Committee is holding a hearing today in order to “examine the regulatory mistakes and financial excesses that led to bailout of the American International Group(AIG)." During the hearing, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) explains that one week after AIG was bailed out by $85 billion dollars of taxpayers’ money executives went on a $443,343.71 luxury vacation:
Let me describe for some of you the charges that the shareholders, taxpayers, had to pay. AIG spent $200,000 dollars for hotel rooms. Almost $150,000 for catered banquets. AIG spent $23,000 at the hotel spa and another $1,400 at the salon. They were getting manicures, facials, pedicures and massages while American people were footing the bill. And they spent another $10,000 dollars for I don’t know what this is, leisure dining. Bars?
So, does this count towards my two week vacation?

Absolutely disgusting.
If two-thirds of our Senate and nearly a third of The house were not millionaires, we might actually see some real accountability and repercussions for trying to kill America. Some circles consider this to be treason, but we have unfortunately seen Pelosi's stance on that as well:
'Fuck the peasants! Those pieces of shit aren't worth the stink of our shit anyways. Who cares what they think? We will do as we fucking please and buy the next fucking election anyway.'
and California bows to their knees and pleads, "Yes, your Excellency, may we have another?"

Evidently know one else but AIG employees have corporate reward programs that include conventions at spas. keep in mind that thousands of good American people work for AIG, beyond the "executive crooks". Those normal day to day people that may be your neighbor qualify for reward programs like the one in question for their performance on the job. Nowadays, this whole process on both sides and inbetween is the biggest self-seeking, spin anything to suit your needs and argument atmosphere.
