The best part was Mike Murphy saying how the good thing about McCain always used to be that he wasn't cynical, but now that's out the window.

McCain KNOWS this is his last shot at the presidency, so where as in 2000 he called Falwell, Robertson, and others "agents of intolerance"; now he'd give a reach around to Ted Haggard if he thought it would get him into the oval office.

Nice to know what they really think

All week long we've been hearing nothing but Republican spin, squeezed out almost regretfully by people who have no choice but to go along with this even though it's completely indefensible, so it's nice to hear some honest comments, even if they weren't meant for broadcast. If they don't dump Palin soon, we'll know they've either lost their minds or know they don't have a chance to win anyway, so why not make it interesting!
