I posited the question a couple of months ago when Ackerman was the Guest Blogger, "Was he getting paid by AAR" because of the nonsense he was posting. (As I recall he accused Charles Krauthammer of being a racist for an article about Senator Obama which had the only flaw that it was about four or five days outdated.)
It looks like the answer for these Guest Bloggers is "No."

I hereby commandeer this thread, and declare it a Free and Open Thread to all citizens of this blog site!!

(There was something that I wanted to say yesterday, but I forgot what it was, as I was waiting for an appropriate forum to say it! No matter, it'll come back..)

OKAY: I'm a fiscal conservative, not a social one. I'm a liberal, I believe that we need to provide opportunity to all, not just the already wealthy. I don't think that it's OK for people to just lay around and collect a government check if they are able-bodied and can pull their own weight. I DO believe that we need to provide help for those who are struggling to make their own way. I believe that we need to maintain and preserve our infrastructure, while improving on it. This takes good governance. I don't know of ANYONE who wants MORE government. I DO believe that we need to keep our citizens safe from threats...domestic and abroad. It requires GOOD intel, not MORE.

Just a few thoughts...
