VIDEO: Community Organizers
By GottaLaff
If this is code for something, then I just cracked it. "Community organizer" = pride, responsibility, care, empathy, rights, social justice, service, and apparently, Democrats only.

He was.
Of course the right wingers think that if they lived back then they would have been different. They believe they would have followed Jesus' words. But of course they wouldn't be any different than they are today. The right wingers would have mocked Jesus.

Who do you think made up the majority of people who lined the road that Jesus carried his cross down? Those who jeered him and spat at him? Of COURSE it was the ancestors of the knuckle draggers who we have to fight today!

By roadgoddessSeptember 6, 2008 - 6:40amDouble standard anyone?????
I just watched Michael Steele, black Republican, on "Real Time" try his best to trash Obama and he got worked over by actress Kerry Washington. It was a hoot.
He tried again and again to make "community organizer" sound really stupid, but got called on it. Especially when he tried to make "soccer mom" and "no opinion on Iraq" good preparation for being vice president.
He got called out when he said, "Being from a small town makes a good president'.
They showed the web site of Bristol's boyfriend before it was taken down.
The most funny, when the gay guy said if Obama had a 17 year old daughter, and she was pregnant, and her boyfriend has a site that said he would like to "kick some fucking ass", and wanted sex but no babies, THE ELECTION WOULD BE OVER.

By deanrddSeptember 5, 2008 - 11:32pmThe GOP is rampant with hypocrites.
Here is Jon Stewart's piece on it. Note that he uses actual clips of Republicans saying one thing when it applies to Palin, but the exact opposite when it applies to any Democratic candidate.

How they can say these things with a straight face is beyond me. Do they actually believe the BS they spew?

Remember, half of America is below average in intelligence. That is just the way it is. This is the base of the Republican Party.
One Republican at the convention said they don't like Obama because he uses "too many big words" and that makes him hard to follow.
Obama's people already know him. When he has to "debate" McCain, he needs to not appear to "think". Republican's don't like people who think. Because it's not something they normally do, to them, it looks like he is being indecisive. To Republicans, "thinking" is NOT the sign of a good leader.
This is why the cheered when John McCain shot out the answers at Rick Warrens. Many in the media were "stunned" that McCain could get away with saying so many dumb things. But he said them fast, without thinking, and with conviction. To the Republicans, it was a perfect performance.
Example: McCain said there was a family that was out of work, had no insurance, no schooling and were losing their home. McCain said he knew EXACTLY what they needed, "Hope and confidence".
THEY CHEERED, THEY HOOPED IT UP. THAT WAS THEY NEEDED.
Obama talked about the economy and his plans when answering the same question. There was a polite applause, but clearly, they had no clue what he was talking about.
