Today's rally for McCain and Palin was delightful, even though there were so many more people who arrived than estimated (about 11,000!!!), there were still endless people in the standing room only, (many of them elderly!) Our family was one of the last to get in to the spectacular security line, because THEY HAD TO TURN AWAY PEOPLE! This is the truth about what happened at today's rally! There was a very very long line outside, with people who had to go back to their cars in the parking lots, as there were so many who came!!

The setting for his speech was so much more personable when John McCain shook people's hands, waiting right there on the runway, and when his motorcade arrived it was terrific! Everyone had a delightful time talking and in the fresh air. It was a sunny day, and 75, just the right temperature to be outdoors. It was amazing to see the C-130's flying over and to be right there when the plane took off to it's next destination, New Mexico. The crowd was exhilarated and it was fantastic, like the 4th of July outdoors! That's one of the nicest things about fall here in Colorado, it's beautiful weather!
