Phase two of the Senate report on pre-war intelligence has been released. Now, we know what you are thinking: "Senate report? Boring!" But wait! Consider this: if what they are saying is everything, EVERYTHING, was made up, don't you call that lying? And isn't that worthy of a prosecution or two? We think so too.

Truth & Reconciliation

Several commentators have suggested that because everything that led to invasion of Iraq involved bald-faced-lies that somebody or bodies should pay, i.e., be held accountable.

I think impeachment is a waste of time for a president and adminstration on it's way out. A Truth & Reconciliation process, similar to the one Desmond Tutu mounted in post-aparthied South Africa, sounds more just to me. Any takers?

I think a war crimes

I think a war crimes tribunal should be launched, since it's too late to impeach.

The Forgotten Ones

Yes, the Bush/Cheney /Condosleeza Rice Horror Picture Show, made their debut on 9/11 and the sequel was the Invasion of Iraq. They LIED, THOUSANDS Died. And that's just Americans, not to mention the tens of thousands with disabilities, emotional and mental scars, broken homes and suicides.

Then we have the deaths of over 1 million Iraqis, and the millions now displaced from their homeland who have starred in the Bush/Cheney/Condosleeza Rice Horror Picture Show. Not to mention all the cumulative deaths of soldiers from the also duped "other" countries.

Isn't this beyond LIES? At what point does this become a HOLOCAUST, engineered by actual fascist wannabees, namely, (Bush, Cheney and Condosleeza Rice and yeah, throw in Rove too...Oh yeah, AND the Saudis!)

The enormity and heinousness of these atrocities against us all, but all the more so, the Forgotten Ones, the little ones, the innocent and good-hearted ones should rob us all of any restful sleep.

Down with Bush! Down with Cheney! Down with Rice! The handwriting has been on the wall for the last 12 years, they are NO LESS than WAR CRIMINALS. They should be arrested, tried and executed for the death of millions.

Proscution of this administration

Yes, there should be prosecution for all the war crimes that have occurred under this administration. Prosecution of this administration and apologies from the United States is the only way to start to repair the damages this administration has caused. But, why don't we talk about why pelosi will not consider impeachment? If this is the leadership we can expect, why should people bother to vote for Democrats? Why haven’t liberal talk shows gone after her leadership more.

Pelosi and Reid are incompetent.

You asked why they never brought Impeachment proceedings against this very corrupt administration. Well, Here is my opinion as to why. On the top of the list would be fear. They fear loosing the positions they both ow hold. Pelosi as the leader of the House and Reid as the leader in the Senate. After many years of republican control, these two were just plain afraid to loose the small majority they have now garnered. What they failed to realize was that a large number of the American people would have like to see this administration held to account for their lies and folly. By "taking impeachment off the table" as they have said from their first days in their new positions of control, they have just angered many of those that got them their new jobs. Next, they claimed that it would distract from getting any real work done. Well, that also is a line of crap, as they have not really had any luck getting any real major legislation done. If they had not employed some of the same heavy handed tactics that the former republican majority had used, nothing would have gotten done at all. They might have well used this time to bring the Bush / Chaney criminal team to justice then wasting the time with bills that were going to be Vetoed by the president with no hope of an over-ride vote.

On the liberal media talk show hosts, they are as complicit as the rest. Afraid to call their own to account, they sit and make excuses for the actions taken. Well, most do. There are still a good number of straight talking radio hosts that call them like they are regardless of party affiliation. That is what we need more of. The media should be on the side of the people, not the politicians.

Hold Bush and his gang Accountable for their CRIMES

Anyone seriously interested in the unfathomable criminals in this administation be held responsible for their lies and manipulations and MURDERS, needs to do a few things now:

1) Read Vincent Bugliosi’s The Prosecution of George W Bush for Murder - wherein he so clearly spells out the case and sites all the necessary evidence in detail, to bring this gang to justice, whatever their high falutin title.

3) Stand up and let your voice ring out loud at every opportunity - write letters, make phone calls, go to rally’s etc to show your support, nay, your insistance that they NOT be allowed to get away with their criminal behavior.

Your reporting and commentary on our National politics are spot on. George Bush and Dick Chaney belong in jail.

I have written multiple times to members of the Senate and House and, if I receive a response, it is lame at best. Congress has failed to hold George Bush accountable.

We are now placing great hope in Sen Obama to help turn the page on the nightmare of the past 8 years.

However, as small as this concern may be, I am greatly troubled by what I heard on the Keith Olbermann show last evening that Sen Obama is carrying on an e-mail exchange with Scarlett Johansson??? God help us if we get another person in the White House how does not have a laser-like focus on the challenges this Nation now faces.
