THE WAR ON WARS

How much would you pay to be tortured? Yeah you read that right. We want to know how much would you pay to be tortured. There’s a new “ride” at Coney Island in New York where visitors can be waterboarded. Lawyers in favor of the practice get free admission. We’ll talk with Steve Powers the proprietor about what exactly he’s trying to do, and does he really expect to make money on this. He’s the author of “The Art of Getting Over

Who should fund the reconstruction in Iraq? The GAO released a report that says Iraq is now earning Millions in oil income … $79 million to be exact. So, should 100% of that money go to Iraq? Or to the “reconstruction” projects the US is now funding? Or should Iraq be allowed to save it? If they do pay for their own reconstruction, then should the US be allowed to run the projects? But really, why are we paying for bridge building in Iraq when our states and cities are so poor they’re selling off bridges to the highest bidders?

FROM THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

A new candidate is in the race, and boy is she hot today. Paris Hilton has responded to John McCain’s celebrity ad with her own video. She even has an energy plan. Also a bikini. That’s her style.

The truly absurd part about this is that John McCain’s campaign responded to her “ad”, and they’re trying to use the video as evidence in favor of McCain’s policies. Huh? First they mock Obama by comparing him with Paris, then they say her “ideas” on energy policies support McCain. Get it together people.

Plus, the death penalty for foreign nationals, a different travesty of justice, dog yawns, sex on TV and much much more

Kuby Live . . .

1) Yes I care -- very much. And, unfortunately, I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg compared to what we'll see in another Repub administration.

2) I'm not able to access the video of your show. Has the video aspect been discontinued? Or is it me?

It's not just you. We're working on it. Should be up momentarily.

the death of " due process"

Ron, great rundown on the guilty verdict of Obama's driver.
." compared to this military tribunal .. Neurenburg was a beacon of truth and transparency "
a sad day indeed for our most wonderful country ...
... another Repub administration ? ... that'll be the death of DUE PROCESS !!!

OMG - what a freakin crating voice...

sam help!

Erm...

You might want to go actually read the article about the waterboarding 'ride' before you have this guy on your show. What you actually do is walk up to a barred, darkened window made to look like the inside of an interrogation room, and if you give it a dollar the one animatronic figure waterboards the other. Which is not to say maybe its not effective political commentary, because the one being waterboarded apparently pretty much flips out and starts convulsing. The guy running the ride says he originally wanted to actually waterboard people, but his wife convinced him of the obvious, that that is a bad idea. He's apparently invited a group of lawyers to be waterboarded for real, as a one time thing. So, um...sort of not exactly as you portrayed in in your teaser there.
