Way back in 1976, George Lucas was auditioning actors for the role of Han Solo in what would become the iconic series, "Star Wars." Though Harrison Ford would go on to win the roll, the auditioning actors included Christopher Walken, Nick Nolte, Jack Nicholson, Nick Nolte, and Kurt Russell--whose audition tape has now been uploaded to YouTube.
Watch Russell put a painstakingly "good guy" spin on what few could imagine as anything but the arrogant, cocksure, and heroic role that Harrison Ford would so wholly embody.
