A Dallas Cowboys cheerleader has found herself in hot water after she decided to add face paint to her Halloween costume in order to authenticate what is presumably a Little Wayne lookalike ensemble. Whitney Isleib, a second year cheerleader, posted the photos to her once public Facebook page, which has since been removed.

A tipster sent them to Deadspin and, well, the rest is (racist) history.

According to CBS News, fan opinions are mixed. One fan argues, "If she wasn't a Dallas cheerleader would it really matter?" While another believes that Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders should be held to a higher standard.

What do you think?

Bebeholmes,
Stop obsessing over Jackson and Sharpton.
Unlike you they haven't said anything about this.

Right wingers tend to get upset over other things.

They demanded that CBS not air a movie about Ronald Reagan, because the actor
that played Reagan was married to liberal Democrat Barbara Streisand.

Rightwings ditto heads went crazy in September because a group of second graders sang a song congratulationing our new President back in February. They also sang songs praising Lincoln and Washington during the same program.

Regarding the cheerleader
Personnaly I draw a line between an imitation or a real person, and the tar colored face paint used along with red or white paint to distort the size of the lips. That was called blackface it was openly racist.

By doing this folks, this is the only way they can perpetuate that VICTIM mentality thing that keeps Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton in the spotlight. Without this sort of thing, black Americans will realize they are just as mainstream as whites and where would that leave the race pimps.

@ Nick... Unless he's a coach for the Cowbells, I mean Cowboys, then then media has nothing... he's not a public figure that knows they are being watched like a cheerleader for one of the most recognized teams in the NFL. My thing is, she doesn't look like him to me, she looks like a burnt Becky "Buck Wild" from Flav of Love. Why don't they get in the lime light for someone that needs a spark in their career like, Sinbad, Tommy Davidson, or D'Angelo (I would love to see their careers take off...again).

I can’t help but notice that no one seems to be upset about the guy behind her in that one picture who is also in blackface. Also, other sites have posted a picture with 2 guys dressed as mariachi singers; again no one is making a big deal about those 2 either. But of course, those people aren’t public figures. That says all that needs to be said about this alleged controversy. This isn’t so much about racial stereotypes; it’s about embarrassing the Cowboys, a major American corporate entity.

Did she have a balled up sock in her pants to simulate a penis? Now that would be sexist...

Please do not post stories that are baseless and merely inflammatory, then you are just being fox news. I would consider that anyone who thinks this is racist is in fact themselves racist, or at the very least just attempting to start trouble.

The double standard applies only to Liberals....er.....progressives......reverse racists (whatever that is). While trick-or-treating with my grandchildren, I saw black children in white face. No biggie there. I think this cheerleader was making fun of the character she was portraying, not the race. Dressed like a buffoon to spoof a buffoon. Simple as that. Lighten up lefties.

I don't see people flipping over this. Why is that?

She is dressing up like a real person. What is racist about that? I can't believe how much liberals love racism.
