Freethought Radio

Show Schedule:

  • Saturdays: 1 p.m.
  • Sundays: 3 p.m.

Radio for the rest of us. Broad-minded, irreverant broadcasting.

Freethought Radio is an antidote to the religious-right 24/7 domination of the public air waves. Co-host Dan Barker says, “This is radio for the rest of us! Broadcasting should be broad-minded.”

The weekly Freethought Radio, devoted to the secular point of view, is the only nationally broadcast radio show of its kind. It offers "slightly irreverent views, news, music and interviews.”

Freethought Radio is a production of the Freedom from Religion Foundation and is hosted by Foundation co-presidents Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor. The lively show offers programming of special interest to the nation’s nonreligious segment, and wakes up listeners to the growing threat of theocracy. Features include a "Theocracy Alert" review of the week’s news in the battle to keep state and church separate, and interviews with prominent atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, activists and newsmakers.
