The Fort Hood Shooting Explained (AUDIO)

How Rampant Is Secondary PTSD In The Military?

Friday November 6, 2009 3:30 p.m.

Brockton Hunter, an army veteran and a criminal defense attorney who represents psychologically injured combat veterans in courts, came on the Jack Rice Show today to discuss the Ft Hood shooting. He and Jack discuss how post traumatic stress disorder can be transferred to therapists, which may have happened in this case. It is natural to expect that after hearing soldier after soldier describe their horrible experiences in the field, one may experience a severe emotional toll. It is hard to say that is what happened with the shooter at Ft Hood, but it is a problem worth noting and keeping an eye on.
