Newsweek On Air is an hour-long weekend radio program which blends the best of print and broadcast journalism into lively, informative radio magazine covering hard news and entertaining stories on health, science, religion, finance, culture, music movies, television, and politics.  The 45-year news veteran, David Alpern, hosts the weekly show that has won numerous awards including the NAB’s Crystal Award and a Silver Medal from the International Radio Festival. The show features exclusive interviews each week with Newsweek correspondents and newsmakers, from Robert Redford to General Norman Schwarzkopf.
