The Time is Now will be ending the last Saturday in July. We want to deeply thank you all for tuning in and listening to the show. Jim Forbes will continue his work preaching around the country.
This week Jim Forbes talks with Dr. Helen Caldicott,about her new book, Nuclear Power is Not the Answer.
For more than 30 years, Caldicott has been educating the public about the medical hazards of our nuclear age and has received many prizes and awards for her work, including 19 honorary doctoral degrees, a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, and the Smithsonian Institute named her one of the most influential women of the 20th Century.

Wow! Not to put down your previous programs, but the interview with Dr. Caldicott was the single best interview I have ever heard on radio.
Talk about the antithesis of soundbites. Simply marvelous. For the
record, I am on the sunset side of 50 years old, so I have indeed heard plenty of radio.
