typhoon, which is the same as a hurricane, depending on where it is in the
world. Doesn’t that make sense?
These massive foreign tragedies raise basic moral questions like: what is our obligation to help others, and in other countries with governments we oppose? Remember he old thought experiment: if your actions can save: 1family member, 10 neighbors, 1000 Americans or 10,000 Burmese people on the other side of the world, which would you pick?
