Also Jon will be continuing to read the e-mails sent to Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) by Americans concerning the shrinking economy. And of course Jon will be taking your calls at 866-303-2270. So make sure to tune in to tonight's jam packed edition of This Is America with Jon Elliott.

You may also dial in and hear the show through Cellecast at 206-400-2860.

Barack Obama and Change

Regarding how Barack Obama can change the dynamic between the US and the rest of the world: We always talk about his mixed ethnicity as if it was a negative factor. In fact overall it's a big plus, in my opinion. I can hear the rest of the world saying, "Hey, he's not ALL white!" He's more representative of the people of the world physically and emotionally. It's not his skin color that strikes me so much as his Kenyan height and relaxed, unthreatened, unafraid demeanor! How will the REST of the world perceive Americans with him as our leader? They will like what they see from day one!!

The biggest obstacle to making the changes we must make is our grossly inflated fear which has been played upon to the max by the neocons. Obama is by nature a calming, reassuring, rational man. I'm looking forward to having a leader who doesn't jerk the chains of the paranoid. I can hardly wait!!!
