MEDIA MICROSCOPE MONDAY

We’ll hear from David Bonior about his support for Obama. He’s a former Congressman fromMichigan and was John Edwards' national campaign manager.
THE JUICY NEWS
Republican Congressman Vito Fossella says he won’t resign just because he's been cheating on his wife and keeping a mistress and bastard child a secret for years. Democrats are still making plans to capture his seat.

Just how many documented Republican scandals have there been? From Daily Kos’ dkosopedia, here is the whole list.
FROM THE ENDLESS CAMPAIGN
Friends of Hillary Clinton say she would fight for the VP spot. The two Democratic campaigns are "not talking" about a campaign debt deal in which Obama's campaign could pay off Hillary's astronomical debts.
The latest oops moment came from Hillary operative Terry McAuliffe on Meet the Press with Tim Russert. McAuliffe suggested that his dad and Big Russ, Russert's dad, were probably drinking scotch together in heaven right now. Watch it here.
The only problem is that the latter is very much alive and even has his own web site.
To keep it even, here’s the video of Obama saying he's visited 57 states. We think he meant 47, but maybe he has some expansionist plans.
Harry Reid is doing damage control for Hillary Clinton. She meant no harm when she said Barack Obama's support among "hard-working Americans – white Americans" was weakening.
Saying what everyone else is too, but in a much better way, here’s comedian Will Durst on why “it's over for Clinton.”

Who even knew there was a dkosopedia. While we’re at it there is also dickipedia
and even conservapedia which says that dinosaurs are "believed to be extinct" and were "created on day 6."
We'll discuss the inordinate interest that people have with sex controversies and the equally inordinate number of Republicans involved therein.

You forgot to mention about the MAC...
Lionel goes on and on about mac over pc. I agree FULLY, as a mac owner myself. BUT....Lionel continues about why he doesn't understand why all PC owners don't switch to the MAC, which is obviously the better choice. Well, have you checked the PRICES of Macs? In most cases, they cost 2 to 3 and 4 times as much as PC's. If you line up the specs of statistically similar models of a PC vs. Mac, you'll find that Macs are WAY MORE expensive. most people don't want to spend $1500 on a computer that they will only use to surf the web or play tunes with.
Just something to remember when comparing PC's and MACs. Also, regarding your point that Macs don't get viruses. The reason that is, is not because it can't be done. It's because hackers go after the crowds. If ever MACs were the majority of the computers out there, then you would see more viruses making their way into the MACS. I've been a MAC owner since 2000. I think something like 3 - 4% of computer owners use MACS. That number may not be precise, but it's in the ballpark. So why would a hacker spend the time creating a virus that will not get the spotlight? Just something to remember.
Thanks.
