inclusiveness

Cheney's idea of an inclusive government is to include the oil, coal, nuclear industries in deciding on energy policy. I see that the main purpose of a government in a capitalist society is to conteract the influence of the industrialists. Therefore my ideal inclusive government is one that asks for and obtains input from each of its citizens equally, where a welfare mother from Compton is listened to with the same attention as the CEO of Shell. And, because there are so many more welfare mothers than there are oil executives, meeting the needs of welfare recipients is given higher priority.
Obama has said repeatedly that he will include corporations in writing legislation. Including the CEO's in writing the legislation that will regulate them is not the kind of inclusiveness that I want.
