I am glad that you and others are putting consciousness-raising shows on the air. I first read The Power of Now about 8 years ago. I found it helpful to read Eckhart Tolle describing his experience of enlightenment after a profound period of suicidal thought and intent. I am a psychiatrist and understood how his intense depression had assisted with stripping Mr. Tolle of his ego to a point where he was ripe for an opening to experience his enlightenment as an acute event. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately...chuckle), we do not all have such an acute ego stripping and so many have a much more prolonged stage-wise enlightenment route.
I have spent the last 6 years attempting to teach people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression techniques to assist them in their enlightenment process when they are ready for change in their lives. It is part of my purpose to assist others with understanding who they truly are. Thanks for your contribution to raising consciousness. :-)
