TODAY'S SHOW: TUESDAY, MAY 13TH, 2008

By Vanessa Silverton-Peel

Today is the West Virginia primary, a contest that Hillary Clinton is expected to win by huge margins.  But does it matter?  David Bender, the master of electoral politics, will be taking your calls.  (866) 303-2270

Control of the Senate

I don't get your radio program as it isn't carried by any local station. So you may have already commented on this. If Clinton is added to the Obama ticket, or even if some act of God adds Obama to a Clinton ticket, the anorexic majority in the Senate for the Democrats vaporizes. I've not heard anyone comment on this, and I'm a news junkie. If we lose the Senate majority, it doesn't matter whether it's Clinton or Obama in the Whitehouse since the Pubs in the Senate will cling to their new friend Phil A. Buster. What can either of them get done without that majority? Will these seats likely be filled by Democrats? I know I said I was a junkie, but apparently not junkie enough to have found this discussion elsewhere.
