Thom I know you are trying to re-unite the party
when you say Clinton didn't mean the comment about po' white folks the way it came out. And I don't argue with your logic in taking the high road.
BUT, take the rose colored glasses off for a minute and remember this: Clinton does NOT make verbal MISTAKES. She may tell an untruth but she does so with a purpose; she doesn't make gaffes. When she said what she said about the AP article regarding white working people of lower incomes, she was doing what she did when she used Reverend Wright, Farrakhan and Ayers--playing a combo of the race and fear card. Don't kid yourself; she knows exactly what she says. All the time. She is way too good at this stuff; no ad-libbing that hasn't been thought out for her.
