I think if history is any teacher, the G0P will do exactly what they've done this past week: try for those uneducated working-class whites that they say Obama will never convince. They will be all about the usual things that distract loyal contards from the real issues: keep those evil gays in their place, Obama's a Muslim, and the occupation is working. I wouldn't be surprised to see a BIG drop in gas prices around September or October.

As for the Dems, I think Obama has already set the course for his campaign. The economy first. He will need to get into specifics of what he is to do about outsourcing, restoring protection for labor, etc. Iraq second. Likewise I think if Obama is the nominee, he'd better start talking about his exit plan. Also, I'd like to see health care and education a little more visible in this campaign.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture. Just get people to stop reading them.
