The Senate is probably going to vote on the new GI Bill tomorrow and our guest Paul Rieckhoff from Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America thinks that it just might pass despite John McCain's auspicious opposition to it. If it does pass, the bill will end up on Bush's desk. Will Bush be the first president in history to veto a veterans' benefits bill during war time? Hey Rachel -
I'm sure you've already heard, but the screening this evening kind of went crazy and got shut down about 15 minutes into the movie. I'd love to hear if it gets rescheduled! I'm not sure that 15 minutes of movie with only about 5 minutes of sound really did the story justice.
