McCain: Obama Should "Cut Clark Loose"

By talkleft

ABC:

"I think it's up to Sen. Obama now to not only repudiate him, but to cut him loose," McCain said to a small group of reporters somewhere between Indianapolis, IN, and Cartagena, Colombia.

Hmm. Cut Clark loose from what? At this point, the McCain Freakout is turning this into a loss for McCain. I think Obama is done with this issue. And McCain's continuing to harp on it will hurt him.

...Ok, now pay attention here...

The question to Clark wasn't whether McCain's POW status makes him presidential material, the question was, does McCain's experience of flying a fighter plane and being shot down demonstrate his leadership quality?
I'm sure that whatever cafe hotspot you're sitting in right now is a hell of lot more comfortable than the prison John McCain chose to stay in for 5 years. Does his experience of staying with his men in a concentration camp rather than going home to a nice warm bed make him a leader? Maybe that concept is a little to complex for someone like yourself to understand. Hopefully the swing voters will see this swift-boat attack against John McCain as what it is.
So, speaking of military records, what's Obama's?
