...a report I heard a couple of months ago on NPR stated the porn industry was seeing its biggest downturn in eight years, and several publishers are laying (no pun intended) the blame directly on the skyrocketing gas prices, saying that because people are having to spend more to fuel up, they don't have as much available to spend on their products.

Of course, that's just the average American. The g0p, having focused on profit at all costs for so long, may have a bit more available in disposable income that they can allocate to porn.
