Jesse Helms Is Dead

By talkleft

The AP reports:

Former Sen. Jesse Helms, who built a career along the fault lines of racial politics and battled liberals, Communists and the occasional fellow Republican during 30 conservative years in Congress, died on the Fourth of July. He was 86.

We do not speak ill of the dead at TalkLeft, at least on the day of the death. Keep that in mind if you feel a need to comment.

RIP, Jesse Helms.

Are you ever correct, little guy? I made one comment on the George Carlin thread, & it referred to Ronny(Nancy, tear down this diaper)Reagan.

Yep, I see the 90+% of African-Americans that vote Democratic coming over to the darkside that is repulsed by them only a little less than Latinos & homosexuals. You may as well go the way of good ol' Jesse now, the right-wing as you know it is finished.

George W. & George H.W. Bush - Living proof that the dumbshit doesn't fall far from the dumbass.
