Well both candidates are apologizing today. Barack Obama says he shouldn’t have thrust his young daughters into the TV spotlight and John McCain wishes he hadn’t said it’s good to kill Iranians. That last one was a joke, not a Freudian slip, he insists.

But mostly what John McCain is doing today is bragging. He’s again reminding us about his military experience, his Vietnam POW period, and how certain other Americans who didn’t fight the “enemy” in Nam aren’t in his league. In his new ad he compares his caged experience of the 60s with the Woodstock crowd … any flower children out there take offense? Let us know.
