Why White Americans don't realize...
The reason whites don't seem to realize that blacks see the country differently is simple: DENIAL! I don't think that people of good will can deal with the fact of the history of "white privilege" in this country that they have benefited from, and still do today. If they accepted that it would mean giving up that privileged status.
