Air America's Rachel Maddow appeared on The Daily Show last night where she talked about not owning a television and being able to engage in conversation with Pat Buchanan.
She also spoke about her interview with President-elect Obama and how President Bush made the Obamas stay in a hotel.

Eve Dallas is a kickass female cop in mid-Twenty-First Century New York City in a series of popular Mystery/SF/Romance novels written by J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts writing under a pseudonym). I love them, and have read every one - often several times.
You can find them by looking for paperbacks with "IN DEATH" in the title. :)
