I've just returned from Fresno, California where yesterday's historic march and rally for marriage equality took place. From the point of view of practical politics, this is the part of the state that needs to be ground zero in any effort to restore gay marriage to the Golden State -- over 70% of Fresno voters supported Prop. 8 last November.
