Secret Joe Lieberman E-Mail Leaked

In response as to whether Lieberman was an independent or a democrat, I called him a backstabbing turncoat rightwing obstructionist pig and I was censored from future comments for it. This was in the article comment section of The Dallas Morning News, a supposedly liberal newspaper. Can I call him that here? If so, consider it done.

I don't understand how you can run this article without stating up front that it is satire, not an actual e-mail from Joe Lieberman. I'm no lover of the Senator, but, hey, fair is fair and I want my intelligence respected by news sites I trust. This is "dirty pool" and don't like that no matter from whom it originates.

I'm a progressive . I want health care with the public option but cmon does anybody believe Joe would be stupid enough to write an email like this telling somebody to deposit money in his wife's account? I think not . I think he is stupid like a fox . What is the source of this claim?

Joe took $763,000.00 from insurance companies last year. Insurance companies are spending 1.5 million a day to lobby DC. How many people could have life saving surgeries with this money? How many people would this money have saved from foreclosures? How many veterans wouldn't have committed suicide because they would have been insured and received care. Shame on Joe....

It may be true that the Democratic party has a socialist wing (I doubt communist as you maintain) but I would respectfully point out that the Republican party has a very strong and vigorous fascist wing. I know this is not a real e-mail because I am not gullible. However, there are a good number of people out there that are. Isn't there enough miss-information floating around right now?

Great satire,or is it? Sounds totally believable given Lieberman's threats of a filibuster against health care reform and his relationship with Aetna. Ol' Joe just can't seem to get it through his head that he is on the wrong side of the issues facing our country and the world at large but hey, money talks,or in Lieberman's and so many others case money buys you a senator.

For the life of me I cannot understand how the Democratic members of Congress ever believed that Lieberman would EVER play nice with them and "caucus" like a Democrat. Nothing about what he has done over the past several years speaks of any integrity, honesty or ethical standards in this person. He is the lowest possible form of human form. I think he is a twin of Cheney, they seem to be made of the same evil cloth. The Democratic Congress better wake up before he completely destroys the entire Democratic Congress. Let's do a history lesson on self serving Joe LIEberman, when he ran for VP with Gore and the CT Senate election he took money from both campaigns and the state had to change the law so no one else could double dip us again. They forgave him. When he lost the election to Lamont, and then switched parties and stole the election anyway with bold faced lies, he wasn't thinking of we the people of CT. or even the country. He's been either running for VP or President or something for years now, and none of it is about service to people. He's self serving, and what he does consistantly is grow his own power, not ours. He disrespected the party running w/McCain and then disrespected our President and STILL he gets a Chairmanship? Now he rejects the CT voters against reform and assumes this is OK? Does he know where the proverbial bodies are buried or are the people of CT just blinded by his whiny smile? Joe must go, period, we need a Senator who is for the people, not corporate power and not his wallet. If he is allowed to do this to block Reform, then the Democrats deserve what they get.nothing. The e-mail is brilliant. I hope I am quite wrong, but I have an idea that this is how Joe really thinks and behaves--along with many (all?) of his Republican pals in the Senate. Joe and the Republican elite take for granted the privileges they wish to deny to millions of hard-working Americans. Theirs is a "philosophy" of greed, power, and, above all, selfishness.

Washington is so disassociated with the American people, with the country's interests, with reality. Likewise with Wall Street. What a mess.

Joe was for health care ,, to be re-elected in 2006. Now that he has join the republicans party in their campaign against and to attack, not only democratic policies (he was for , before he was against) but even stated he was for republicans on the ballot ticket running against Democrats.. The same as he campaign for McCain & Palin in the run against Obama..
Yes I am sure that republicans will defend and try to protect his actions..

By the way, FU. As you well know, I am a conservative, who usually votes Libertarian. My position is, and has always been, is that there really is little difference between parties, except one has a communist wing, and the other doesn't. Other than that, they are virtually the same.
