The idea that you consider it antisemitic when someone associates Lieberman with Judas is a bit of a stretch. I understand antisemitic hate speech all too well, but this is merely kiddie stuff.

Please, I think it important that we all focus on what is actually HATE speech as I think we all will be better for it.

To criticize a network or show because they don't cater to your own brand of "give me what i want NOW" attitude, is absurd. Please, if you want to contact Congress...you surely know how to do that on your own.

By the way...If a judge was presiding over a case that included somebody they knew, the judge would recuse themselves due to a conflict of interest. This is the exact same situation. How is it that Joe Lieberman and Evan Bey's wives are working for big insurance companies? How is it they own a lot of stock in these insurance companies?
HOW THE HELL IS THIS NOT A CONFLICT OF INTEREST? WHY THE HELL IS THIS NOT ILLEGAL?. Dare I say that these two have been "Planted" into our legislation process to protect their OWN financial interest, and the financial interest of the companies who are making them rich. They're just like Spies who are planted into enemy governments to bring them down. Only thing is...
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE NOT THE ENEMY. THEY ARE !!!! At least that's what they're acting like. I've never felt the need for health care more than I do now. THEY MAKE ME SICK!

The one failing, and it's a big one, of THE ED SHOW, KEITH OLBERMAN, AND RACHEL MADDOW is that after giving us all the relevant information we need regarding health care, and inspiring your viewers to reach out to particular members of congress and the senate, (here it is...) THEY DON'T TELL US THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT OUR REPRESENTATIVES!!!
If you could make that info more accessible, and expedient for fans of your show who are desirous of health care reform, our response could be stronger and united. I'm not suggesting they be an arm of any party or even to promote a specific agenda, just a "WRITE YOUR CONGRESS PEEPS AND SENATORS AND TELL THEM WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO STAND FOR...OR AGAINST.
JUST REMIND YOUR VIEWERS THE BEST WAYS TO DO THAT AND PROVIDE #'s...phone, e-mails, etc.

this thread is shocking! I am not a fan of Lieberman and his terrible lack of suport for the public option...but three of the twelve comments are anti semetic? two saying he is related to judas and one accusing him of being from the 51st state of Israel! oh woww....

Just when I thought he could not get any more disgusting (after running around with McCain and that Palin-thing). I, too, sent him a scathing email. And to think, I was a delegate of his at the last CT state convention.

Dr. Maddow is a modern day Nostrodamus. She brings a great mix of sarcasm and knowledge to her reporting. If she were straight I'd ask her out on a date. I might ask her out anyway!!!!

Well, it's a bit harsh and disrespectful, no? We can all agree that Lieberman is a disgraceful image of any kind of political representative, but it's pretty damn snide to Rachel. In fact, I don't know if that's ever the best tact when trying to tackle any kind of political topic.

I think denigrating Lieberman's actions might be more appropriate then mocking Rachel...however that's just me, as I view Rachel as one of our truly insightful voices on the left.

I am utterly ashamed of your behavior as a Senator from the State of Connecticut. All the religious pomposity you try to create about yourself, not working on the Sabbath, your affected "soft" voice trying to show empathy when only a lack of empathy is shown by your actions , your switching from Democrat to Independent to save your political career, your whispering the correct responses to McCain who you appeared to "woo" to become his Vice President if he won, and your choice of siding with the Insurance Industry as your choice of what is better for America. It appears to me as I watch your behavior and the choices you make show that you are only interested in continuing your career and the power that it gives you and not making the lives of Americans better. I am sorry to have to tell you these things and I would never tell someone who wasn't in public life, so just think about what you are projecting to us. If any of these observations ring true, then try to change them if you are able.

What would you expect from a representative from our 51st State (Israel)? When can we ship him to the Middle East where he belongs?
