The Google Chairman explains how the US is working to improve the national power grid through recent stimulus payments.

Thanks to a concerted effort by the Obama Administration, efforts are underway to improve the nation's power grid, transforming it into a "smart grid." The idea is to not only improve overall efficiency but to shore up any shortcomings affecting its reliabilty. With the largest single stimulus allotment going to this cause, It looks like a win-win for Americans--a better, more efficient power infrastructure along with jobs created to construct and maintain that system.

Google CEO Eric Schmidt joins Rachel to discuss how our efforts are going and how our approach stacks up to that of surprising worldwide energy developer leader China.
