Rush Limbaugh And Joe Lieberman Sitting In A Tree (AUDIO)
Monday November 2, 2009 6:34 p.m.
Someone needs to give Chris Wallace a headlamp and some hip-waders. After a half hour of spelunking in the unspeakable confines of baby-boy Rush Limbaugh’s jiggling behind, Wallace, the host of “Fox News Sunday,” apparently ran out of softball questions of his own yesterday and had to resort to mail-ins from the Fox audience. Limbaugh, for his part, managed to take the obsequious fawning in stride, almost as if he expected it—now, why would that be?
LIMBAUGH: Why are you doing this? Why? What in — what — what do you not like about this country that makes you want to inflict this kind of damage on it?
Fox devoted half of their Sunday show—which, in case you’re wondering, falls under the news section of the network as opposed to the “opinion” part—to this sort of inane banter; whiffle-ball questions followed by answers totally devoid of any identifiable content.
WALLACE: This week it will be one year since Barack Obama was elected president. In that time, what has he done for and to the country?
LIMBAUGH: I think it’s all to. I don’t think there’s any for. I’m — Chris, I’m — I’m really, really worried. We’ve never seen this kind of radical leadership at such a high level of power in the –in the country. I believe that the economy is under siege, is being destroyed. Anybody with any economic literacy would not do one thing this administration’s done to try to revitalize the private sector. They’re destroying it. And I have to think that it may be on purpose.
Boy, Limbaugh is accusing President Obama of what amounts to economic treason. Don’t feel too bad if you didn’t notice--apparently Wallace didn’t either. Maybe that’s because the charge has no more substance than any of the other noxious vapors emanating from the infantile radio-jock. Plenty of actual grown-ups have real, adult issues with some of what the Obama team has done to rescue the economy—those less-than-transparent bank bail-outs spring to mind, but little Lord Limbaugh’s accusation has less to do with anything real happening in the world than it does his puerile infatuation with the sound of his own voice.
Wallace eventually got around to the subject of Afghanistan. Does Limbaugh actually believe, as he says, that Obama is deliberately dragging his heels deciding what to do just to curry political favor with his base? Who knows. Limbaugh was off and running on the subject of economic conspiracy, and onto something far uglier.

I was so sick of the eight years of right-wing ranting of "I'm better than you are because I am religious because I am a republican; I am patriotic because I'm a republican"; and the fear caused by the dictator Bush who destroyed this country and our rights, that I breathed such a sigh of relief when our country returned to a DEMOCRACY with the election of democrats and an intelligent president. The "ranters' I knew went into hiding and became silent for about 3 months after the election and I felt the country would finally be one again. But the "Kool-aid" must have done its damage as they have reemerged more vitriolic and stupid than before. I cannot abide people who make idiotic statements. I am calling them out every chance I get and I encourage other sane people to do the same.

Problem Child Limbaugh and "mr.you all suck" and Chris Wallace and Glennie and Brat Anne and company have all self infantalized themselves and their wing into irrlelvence.
Yet, it is good that there are no pricipled, adult rebuttals to the new centrist-left majority- Uncle Safire, gone, ditto Marse Buckley- even Mad Uncle Irving K was an improvement over the irrational voices from the wacko right . For a while I thought Beck, for one was a put-on- a parody. Soon I learned that he was serious- a self parody. Possibly these phonies are unaware of the damage they have caused their own faith- but we are better for them . Better than, say someone who actually could challenge and inspire as a loyal opposition. These Jokes have only the "mr. and mrs, you-all-suck" for a peanut gallery.True Clowns!
To "you all suck": Get a life. There are all sorts of Fox News affiliates for you to troll. Why are you reading the Air America website? My only guess would be that you are looking to inject a little nastiness because such venom isn't recognize in the Fox sludge in which you generally dwell. It's time now for your Limbaugh snort, your eye roll and your belly fat jiggling chortle...yeah, you guys are that predictable.

Air America thanks you for your continued patronage.
Someone posting with the name of "You All Suck" obviously has got his head so far up his ass that he's seeing himself.
The other problem is that he clearly do not know the meaning of the word "vitriol".
To him I say thanks for visiting the Air America site and demonstrating your ignorance. You can now go back to teabagging your buddies.
TWO COMMENTS? Hahahahaaa! Talk about pathetic! I guess now there are three but how inconsequential Air American is! Hahahahhaaa!
I like the way you pinheads cry and blubber on about how hateful and vile Rush and the right is but then the two sad little posts on your sad little site are nothing but vitriol. Hahahahahahaa!
Bite us all Air America
! saw the Limbaugh./Wallace interview. Limbaugh is an entertainer from hell - tossing vile charges at his targets - something we expect from the man. The real disgrace was Chris Wallace, smirking, chortling, agreeing, the Devil's own fool in every sense - a disgrace to journalism in general and to his hard hitting journalist father Mike who would never have tossed soft balls at Limbaugh. A sickening interview.
Just imagine the picture on the right with horns, a goatee, a pointed tail, and a pitchfork. Rush Limbaugh is leading this nation to Third World status, which is fine with him, because he's a billionaire, and he will benefit from lower costs for his imported shoes and Viagra. And who cares if Americans are dying without medical insurance? There are plenty of what he calls "wetbacks" waiting to take their places flipping the burgers.
Then look to the left--an irony sibnce Joe Liebermann is about as Far Right as Limbaugh now on most issues. Joe is going to go against what 75% of Americans say they want. No wonder his campaign slogan was "Connecticut for Liebermann," not "Liebermann for America and Connecticut."
