Today America will elect two powerful mayors, two state assemblies and two state governors, as well as important state ballot measures about concerning casinos and gay marriage.
There is so much to discuss here, Air America's Ron Reagan had to call in some outside help in the form of Politico reporter Andy Barr. Listen above to find out what's at stake in the various races and don't forget to vote!

A Referendum On The President?
Well, that's pretty easy.
If Republicans get the better of the elections- YES.
If Democrats get the better of the elections- NO.
We all know the Republicans and media enablers are dying to say that "The Obama Backlash" has begun. Thus, if Republicans win out tonight, it will have been a referendum on Obama. And, if Republicans don't win out tonight, it will not have been.
I would ask how the NY election reflects on the President but I won't becaues I know I won't get a logical intelligent answer.
Republican upstate NY which has voted republican for the last zillion years will reflct badly on the President if a Democrat is not elected.
Can't you do better in posing questions for discussion?
This question is just crap. Ron Reagan, you long ago started to be a disapointment.
Yes, Mr. Scoffala is right. This is talk about to talk about talk.
Here's the deal:

Hmm. Since it has been a half century since the President's party has won either of these races, wouldn't a loss in both make him running as expected? And shouldn't even one Republican loss be seen as a disaster for the out party?
Is the reporting on this yet another example of media bias?
