One Year Later: The Election Of Barack Obama (AUDIO)
Wednesday November 4, 2009 7:59 p.m.
Filmmakers Amy Rice and Alicia Sams, along with producer Edward Norton, started chronicling Barack Obama’s political career with his first term as junior senator of Illinois in 2006. Little did they know that his career was about to sky-rocket. When Obama announced he would be running for the presidency, they figured they had a great documentary on their hands with a very unsure ending. Lucky for them, their subject was able to win the hearts and votes of Americans and the office of President of the United States.
Ron Reagan spoke with Amy Rice about the film, "By the People: The Election of Barack Obama" and what it was like to follow the Obamas for three years.

"Un-ass" is just another way to say "un-seat", "get rid of", "kick 'em to the curb", "ask them to resign".....Sorry, I work in 'the trades' so the language might be a bit more colorful.
I know what you mean about the chats. Navigating this new site is kind of like living in a two bdrm apt all your life, then to move into Windsor castle. The difference in size alone.....whew! I hope that they decide to bring a couple of their old features back...I miss "new comments", the ability to edit after posting, the hyper-links (HTML?)......time will tell.

I think I agree with your point, it's just that I am unclear about your phrase "un-ass". Might you elucidate to help me follow your thought here?
By the way, I do miss our more intimate or immediate chats...I do kinda feel a bit lost at the moment...

Ed Uncle ...
I completely agree with you, but the story isn't on this thread.
I'd be more convinced of President Obama's commitment to change if he were to un-ass those in his cabinet who're most interested in sustaining the status quo. Geithner springs immediatly to mind.
Re: 9/11 memorial . . .
I'm all for changing the plaque from "Muslim" to "Religious" terrorists.
