Electric cars this year

The electric car is coming soon. I am putting in my order for an aptera - http://www.aptera.com/ and If I had a spare 100K, I could get myself a tesla http://www.teslamotors.com/. Both these automakers are U.S companies...... The future is coming

if you're all gonna shill for the same companies, the least you can do is write your own copy.
to hear more than one of you say "...you know how i feel about suv's" or
"i got some gold, you should too!" punches holes in everyone's credibility. toss in abit more effort...

Monarch Butterfly

I heard Thom mention on the show that the Monarch Butterfly is disappearing. I have all kinds of them in my yard. You need to plant Milkweed because it's the only plant the caterpillars eat. I have one called swamp milkweed - it's very attractive though I don't know if it grows in all parts of the country.

I also have prairie plantings in my yard, but I think the milkweed's what they need. Now this is something people can do something about in their own yard - because the reason is obviously that there is less and less natural prairie around, but you can plant the plants they need yourself if you want to.

Ask Hillary

Just listened to Thom's rant on the division in the party left by the Hillary/Obama rift and decided it was time to weigh in. I, like Thom, started the campaign season as an Edwards supported, then shifted to Obama when Edwards dropped out.

I was a Clinton supporter in the 90s. My only opposition to Hillary as a candidate was the understanding that there were millions out there who, due to the 15 year campaign of Hillary bashing by the right, are anti Hillary. The right wing wants nothing more than a Hillary opponent because they are loaded for bear. This is true whether she is on the ticket as Pres or as VP.

I agree the healing factor of putting her on the ticket would be good for the party as well as uniting us against McCain. I think a Hillary supporter would do that nearly as well, without the anti-Hillary backlash. My suggestion then, is Wes Clark.
