Heather Wilson
Thom,
Heather Wilson's primary loss was not due to her involvement in the US Attorney scandal. She lost the Republican Senate primary to a (Country) Club For Growth candidate because she is not right wing enough to appeal to the troglodyte right-wing in southern New Mexico.

Why is this (if what I have heard about this so far) not the lead story of every news organization in the country? If this can happen in our country today what's going to happen tomorrow. Simple, the press will be irrelevant and democracy a fond memory of the past.
It would seem that the press has sold out.

Back in the USSR, Babe!
I know of a young journalist in my town who keeps up with what's goin' down at the public issues in the States. He said that reporting the news in the America has degnerated into a state of affairs that is worse that "bad old days" of the Stalin in the Soviet Union.
That is the reason I have no reason to even consider the thought of returning to the country that I left in '81.
It's come to the point if you do take a laptop, use it for music movies, and games. All the "meat" is in plastic, miniature coated MP4s, or keeping the files somewhere else and hooking them up on the phone line to some outside source, just to keep your business private. Let them have the bloody Laptop if they want it, all it has is non-essential information.
So much for my comments.
